What is Icynene
The Icynene insulation system is a series of soft, flexible spray foam products that deliver up to 50% greater energy savings when compared to other insulation products. Icynene is perfect for underfloor insulation, roof insulation, dry lining insulation, sound insulation, eradicating condensation and more. When sprayed in place Icynene expands completely filling all cavities and voids creating a sealed building envelope which eliminates air leakage/infiltration. Air leakage/infiltration accounts for up to 50% of heat loss from a building. Unlike other foams, Icynene's unique polyicynene formulation is 100% water blown and therefore contains no harmful agents, volatile organic chemicals, HCFCs, HFAs, HFCs or formaldehyde.
Ideal for wood or steel framed construction, Icynene conforms to unusual geometry and provides a continuous barrier that significantly reduces air leakage, minimising airborne moisture and optimising energy efficiency.
Commercial design considerations come with very specific challenges that can't be address with just any type of insulation. Complex designs that result from traffic patterns, acoustic consideration, light sources and aesthetic qualities are easily covered by Icynene Spray Foam Insulation.

Icynene is the only foam on the market to have achieved BBA, ETA and IAB certifications and has been successfully tested and certified for applications directly to the underside of breathable and non-breathable roof membranes and felts. "Would highly recommend JSJ Foam!!! From our first phone call to Susan we felt well informed and confident we had found a trustworthy and reliable family run business to carry out our foam loft insulation.
Both Susan and Jim came to our home to carry out an inspection and we received our competitive quote the following day. They were both very friendly and were quickly able to answer all our questions and queries.
Craig and Jamie installed our foam insulation, they arrived on time and quickly had everything set up to carry out the install. In a matter of hours the job was complete and we could notice the benefits straight away - our loft space is now warm and quiet!!
